Extrema Outdoor 2020: Update

A Statement from Extrema Outdoor.

” It is with a heavy heart that we have to announce Extrema will be postponed to 2021 (May 21,22,23). Following the developments of COVID-19, the measures taken by the government and the advice of experts, we believe this is the most responsible and sensible thing to do. We have always maintained that the health of our visitors and staff is our main priority. Given these circumstances, which are beyond our control, we cannot guarantee this.

Your messages and expressions of support for Extrema over the last few weeks have been truly heartwarming. It was inspiring to see how all of you empathise not only with us but with the music scene as a whole. This was a tough decision but at the same time, you give us the motivation to get through this situation and work hard towards a better and safer future for us all.

Although we were really looking forward to celebrating our tenth anniversary with you, we have to focus on what is best. We decided that rescheduling our festival at a later date this year was simply not an option as we would not be able to guarantee the same level of quality in such a short time. So we decided to celebrate our 10 year anniversary in 2021 to ensure a special experience with a line up of the highest quality.

Tickets purchased for this year’s edition of Extrema will be valid for next year. Day tickets will be reset so you will be able to pick a new day for next year’s edition or upgrade your ticket to any of the other available options. It is without a doubt that we will be putting everything in place to make Extrema Outdoor Belgium 2021 the biggest edition up until now. You have already shown yourselves to be one of the most loyal audiences and we are once again hoping for your massive support. All ticket holders will be receiving an email within 2 weeks with more information.

We believe that as a community we will come out of this stronger, but we will need each other to do so.
