Thank you to everyone who joined us for the biggest Printworks season to date.

If you were one of the 150,000 dancers who joined us from September-December this year, we cannot thank you enough – your support means the world to us as we continue to grow, moving into our fourth year as a music venue.

Having hosted 25 shows featuring over 250 of the very best producers and selectors from every corner of the world, the Printworks Autumn/Winter 19 season was truly one for the books as we were treated to world exclusives and surprise sets throughout the final months of 2019.

Some of our stand-out moments from the 14 weeks of events can be found below.

AMELIE LENS OPENS AW19
Printworks Opening – 28.09.2019
The perfect meeting between artist & venue – we were delighted to have Amelie Lens crown our Autumn/Winter season this year with an electrifying two hour techno mix at our first show of the season, following on from Nicole Moudaber, Nastia & B.Traits. One for the books.

EROL ALKAN’S ‘BUGGED IN’ MIX
25 Years of Bugged Out – 16.11.2019
Listen to a blissed-out hour of ambient transitions from Erol Alkan, who played this set in our intimate Dark Room to counter his all-0ut journey through acid & techno in the Press Halls later in the day.

DJ BONE GOES FULL-THROTTLE
The Hydra – 21.12.2019
The Hydra’s final show of the decade was a fitting nod to what the party does best – putting together a lineup bursting with electro & techno talent. Few opportunities to perform a set of this nature at 4.30 in the afternoon tend to present themselves, and DJ Bone more than rose to the occasion. His full set is available to listen back to courtesy of FACT.

PEGGY GOU CLOSING HER FIRST HEADLINE PRINTWORKS SHOW
Gou Talk – 02.11.2019
Peggy Gou is no stranger to the Press Halls – the now international superstar first joined us for DJ Harvey’s Discotheque back in May 2018. Later that year, she joined Smirnoff’s Equalising Music initiative to increase gender diversity within the industry – the programme culminated in a Printworks show with Honey Dijon, Peggy & more. Finally, this November, Peggy Gou brought her new ‘Gou Talk’ series to Printworks, which was the first show of AW19 to sell out. Watch the emotional final moments of the show here.

GREG WILSON BRINGS DISCO TO THE DARK ROOM
La Discothèque – 13.12.2019
Listen to a typically disco-fuelled journey from Greg Wilson, recorded live from Printworks at La Discothèque in December.

A SURPRISE B2B FROM SKRILLEX & BONOBO
Bonobo & The Hydra present Outlier – 12.10.2019
Simply put, one of those ‘you had to be there’ moments.

JON HOPKINS’ PRINTWORKS DEBUT
Jon Hopkins Curates – 25.10.2019
An artist we’ve wished to host since our doors opened, Jon Hopkins joined us in October, bringing with him a carefully curated lineup including Daniel Avery, Seefeel & Kelly Lee Owens. Watch him testing out his new collaboration with KLO ‘Luminous Spaces’ for us ahead of its release here.

BINGO BANGO – BASEMENT JAXX
Glitterbox New Year’s Eve – 31.12.2019
We closed the out the decade with Glitterbox, who filled the Press Halls with unadulterated euphoria, glitter & confetti. Basement Jaxx joined us for their Printworks debut as headliners, smashing out their many uplifting hits including ‘Bingo Bango’, ‘Do Your Thing’ and many more.

AFTERLIFE’S TRIUMPHANT RETURN TO PRINTWORKS
Afterlife – 30.11.2019
Tale Of Us returned to the Press Halls in November with their unique, visual and aesthetically impressive production. Welcoming Recondite (Live), Patrice Baumel and more, this show was nothing sort of outstanding, the German melodic house king pins combined their genre-defining sound with the industry-leading lighting and sound for one of the shows of the season.

GREEN VELVET MARKS 25 YEARS OF BUGGED OUT
25 Years of Bugged Out! – 16.11.2019
After a long day & night in the Press Halls, that final set of the night needs to propel you to the finish line as well as drawing on the influences which have got the crowd moving earlier in the night. Green Velvet did exactly that at Bugged Out’s quarter-century party in November, which was streamed live via DJ Mag & Bulldog Gin, and is available to watch back in its entirety.

FLOATING POINTS LIVE
Floating Points – 21.11.2019
We were honoured to host Floating Points’ only live headline show in the UK this year. His creative vision saw our live room completely transformed, with a new stage & live projections from new album artwork ‘Crush’ projected across our cavernous walls. Resident Advisor gave us a visit to document the entire show – you can view it here.

DJ STINGRAY & MARCEL DETTMANN’S FIRST EVER B2B
The Hydra Presents – 21.12.2019
The Hydra, renowned for bringing unique blends of music in an otherwise competitive and often saturated environment, were the first to bring together DJ Stingray & Marcel Dettmann for a huge b2b at their final show of the year. The pair interviewed each other for Clash ahead of their set, which you can read here
