After hearing the extremely sad news, today we want to recognise K-Hands’ contribution to the history of house & techno in Detroit and dance music globally.

Known as ‘The First Lady of Detroit’, Kelli Hand’s career spanned over three decades and we were honoured to be welcoming her to the Press Halls for the Adam Beyer Re:Generate show this October.

While it is a huge loss for our community, her legacy will continue to live on through her outstanding body of work and her seminal label Acacia Records.
